Aussie Legends The Giants Give Nexo & DiGiCo a Go
Aussie Rock Institution, 'The Giants', recently put on one hell of a show at Melbourne's Clifton Hill Hotel. As a band that's been together for more than 20 years, The Giants have toured internationally playing at famous venues and to capacity crowds taking out four Australian Blues Awards over their career.
As a four piece band driven by the superlative vocals and talented harmonica chops of Stuart Wood, the Giants deliver a kaleidoscope of emotions that travel to the heart of their audiences with an unmistakably classic blues sound. Their gig at Clifton Hill was no exception as The Giants took punters on one hell of a musical journey exploring life, love and everything in between.
At the Front of House, Travis Grace mixed the band using a DiGiCo SD9. The stage was decked out with an almighty Nexo rig comprised of 2 x PS15's per side and 2 x of Nexo's latest RS18 subs per side; all driven by two Nexo NX4x4 Intelligent Amplifiers. The band wasn't left out either with monitoring being handled by 4 x PS 15's on stage.
Quite simply, in the truest sense of rock, the band was LOUD! With the combination of talented musicians, great chemistry, an experienced engineer and sure fire gear; everyone in the building was right into the night's performance.
